How We Teach


We offer semi-private year-round classes for ages 4-18. Each class attended and picture created by the student is designed to increase their skill level. This approach provides students with an individualized program that is tailored to their personal abilities and moves with them at their own pace.  (Did we mention, “have lots of fun!”?)
Students progress through 3 levels of instruction, drawing/experiencing a variety of subject matter and learning techniques based on their unique abilities. The levels are classified as  Apprentice (beginner), Artisan (intermediate) and, Master (advanced) Students begin and stay in one program or medium (ie. Chalk Pastel) until they have completed all levels before moving into another media.

Programs

Our weekly afternoon and homeschool classes include our comprehensive drawing and painting program (all ages). It offers instruction on landscape, portraiture, animation (cartoon), and still life.  

We also offer the following specialized programs:
  • Figure Drawing (3rd and up)
  • Anime Illustration (3rd and up)
  • Character Design (3rd and up)
  • Fashion Design and Illustration (3rd and up)
  • Portfolio Development (6th and up)
